We’re writing to let you know about the introduction of an environment tax in Greece following Law 5073/2023 (Government Gazette Α 204/11-12-2023)

This new tax is not included in the price and has to be paid by you in cash in the moment you are at the property and you will meet the owner or the property manager

After the payment the owner/property manager will provide you a receipt


Based on property type you booked , the following taxes will apply:

November to February

€4 per night

March to October

€15 per night

The above amounts are per night and NOT per person

Neighborhood overview
Villa is located in Galatas, Chania, Crete. Galatas has a great advantageous position as it is close to the city centre and the Venetian harbour as well, and also near to the area’s most popular sandy beaches. The closest sandy beach (Kalamaki) is in a walking distance of 1 km from the villa. A number of convenient shops and services (mini market, pharmacy, tavernas, bus station) are available in the neighborhood at a walking distance of less than 5 min. The location is also ideal if you want to explore the island, as it is within a few minutes drive from the national road which leads you to the famous beaches of Elafonisi, Balos and Falassarna as well as the Samaria Gorge.
Getting around
A car is raccomanded and taxis can be arranged.Let me know if you wish to rent a car and i will be more than happy to help you since i cooperate with local rent a car company
