Neighborhood overview
Daratsos is a village in the municipality of Chania in the prefecture of the same name, in western Crete. It is located 4.5 kilometers southwest of Chania at an altitude of 70 meters. It is divided into Ano and Kato Daratso and belongs to the municipal unit of Nea Kydonia. In Daratsos are the organized beaches of Chrysi Akti, Agioi Apostoloi and Kato Daratsos. The short distance from Chania helped the tourism development of the area, which experienced rapid growth.
Getting around
A car is not required but recommended and taxis can be arranged. let me know if you would like to rent a car and i will be more than happy to help as i work with a local car hire company
