The spaceDuring the winter the apartment is rented per month and ELECTRICITY CONSUMPTION DURING MONTHLY WINTER RENTAL IS NOT INCLUDED IN THE PRICE but it will be paid on place
Also be aware that during the winter ( from 1st November till 1st April) the residence where the villa is located is closed ( also the pool are closed ) so the complex will be very quiet and looking like a closed hotel and in the night also little bit spooky . Moreover the only 2 tavernas and beach willbe closed as well so a CAR is necessary during the winter to go to the nearest city of Kissamos to make any kind of shopping or to have lunch/dinner in restaurants ( bytheway not very comfortable but also possible to go to Kissamos by bus and the bus stop is within walking distance from the house)

Neighborhood overviewThe villa Nopigia is located in Nopigia, in the Bay of Kissamos. It is 30km West of Chania and a mere 5km from the town of Kissamos. The latter offers all the modern infrastructure that one would expect to find. There are several supermarkets, restaurants, bars, pharmacists, medical centers, banks and retail shops. The bus stop is located 200m from the villas, while busses run every twenty minutes towards both Chania and Kissamos. One the beach the guest will be able to enjoy their drinks at the Ble Lounge Bar. It offers a carefully selected wine list consisting exclusively from the elite of the Cretan production, while at the same time offering unique and exquisite cocktails.
Very closed to the complex there is a mini market.The village of Kolimbari where you can also find many big market,shops,tavern,bars is just 9km form Nopigia and the property. The airport of Heraklion is about 169 km form the villa and the closer airport of Chania just 48 km. This part of Crete has a spectacular coastline with miles and miles of unspoilt sandy beaches ( like Falasarna, Balos,Elafonissis,etc.) and from the strategic postion of the villa you can reach them very easily.The sandy beach of Nopigia is just in front of the complex( about 100 mt) . The picturesque town of Chania with its ancient, Byzantine, Venetian and Ottoman influences is about a 25 min drive away. This is an area of Crete steeped in history with many important archaelogical and historical sites to discover
Getting aroundA car is not necessary but recomanded and taxis can be arranged.Let me know if you wish to rent a car and i will be more than happy to help you since i cooperate with local rent a car company
